Beautiful song with absolutely gorgeous acoustic runs from Steve.
At first, I was puzzled at who the "nine" voices might be. I thought that it may have been 9 past and present key members of Yes. That theory went out the door when I found out that is actually referring to 9 African Tribesmen.
Apparently, the 9 tribesmen must be speaking the new language of love.
This closes a magnificent return to form for Yes. Each song on this album has its own flavor, and its own story to tell, and I hope Yes' next album rivals this one as far as quality and production.

When The Beatles recorded BECAUSE for 'Abbey Road', John, Paul and George together put three vocal tracks onto the recording. The result is NINE VOICES singing as one. While I'm pretty sure that NINE VOICES isn't about the Beatles' recording of BECAUSE, it's still a nice coincidence.
