I wanted to start this thread as there are various signs through the posts on here that Jon may be going through a difficult time at the moment so I wanted to start this thread, to send personal messages for Jon that will help with his healing. If Jon ever comes on here to read this stuff then it would be of great comfort to him. If not then maybe in same way the force of love and support will in some way find it's way to him. Only one rule I would ask is to respect Jon's privacy.

I will start :
Dear Jon,
You have given so much of yourself over the years to the fans and the music, to your family. I just hope especially now the European tour is over that you can give some time to yourself. We all care about you and want to see you in full health, physical, emotional and spiritual and to remember the source of your strength and inspiration. Take care and remember the wonders of Earth's nature as you mention in 'It will be a good day'.
Remember Jon you are never alone.
Love and Peace

Dear Jon,
Last June I specially came from Holland to England to see Yes play at Wembley Arena and to meet some other wonderfull Yes fans. You and the others have accomplished something very special in this world. We met up there with fans from England, U.S., Germany, Australie and everyone immediatly shared a very special bond, that will remain there, even if we are never to meet again. That is something Yes did, through music and spirit and is something to be immensly proud of!
I had the honor to have some things signed the day after the concert at HMV and had a little chat with you. I told you that being at a Yes concert is such a special experience, because it feels like when you're on stage you open your hearts and we, the audience, do the same and there is this link of positive energy exchange witch nothing can interfer with for the duration of the concert. If you manage to fill the air with so much love, through music, that means you're very special and that is what you are and I for one, thank you from the bottom of my heart for introducing me to such a moving an spiritual experience.
Thank you Jon, for being around for so many years, giving all that you've got, it is beyond words!
Greetings,
Arno (Mr. Holland)

Please elaborate - which signs that Jon's having a rough time of it and in which threads are such things indicated that you are refering towards, because I'm definatly not aware of any such difficulties that are indicated by any threads on this site.

I posted this last summer after meeting the band at HMV stores in London. When I saw Jon I was shocked he looked really exhausted and didn't look well at all.
A lot of people here suggested that he was performing well on stage so they didn't see the problem, but on stage you get the 'adrenaline effect'. I couldn't elaborate what was wrong with Jon, although I knew something was.
Now, it is clear that Jon has had an asthma problem, not so serious in itself but more so if you are a singer. Rick had mentioned in Nashville when he met Diane (Tardistraveller) that Jon needed another six months of rest before he is able to start performing again.
So I would like to say 'Get well Jon....get plenty of rest..we are all thinking of you.'

Yeah,
Jon...please to improve your health...and get to singing again when you feel up to it.
You could be nicer to Chris, but that is neither here or there...you guys need each other to create and make wonderful music...you both know this!!
rest up, to your leisure and please lets have one more great Yesalbum and tour!!!

Jon can and will wonderful music anyway, he doesn't need Chris for that. So i find that remark a bit out of context Scooty.
I have a firm believe that Jon is doing better and better and I trust him to have a few more aces up his sleeve for us. With Yes and without Yes. With and without Chris.. ;)

Jon, with a life as fast as "Sound Chaser" as epic as "A Close to the edge" and a very "Siberian Khatru" attitude i think its time for you to have rest...from the maddness (ala gates of delirium battle scene)

Jon, when I first stumbled across this website a few weeks ago I was amazed at the quality of people here. This is a community of people all of whom have something in common, a love for YES. And those in this site represent only a very minute segment of people worldwide whose lives are connected to those here and elsewhere by a common thread. You and your collegues in YES are responsible for many aspects of the lives of these people and in bringing them together. In some instances you may have lifted people from their despair and brought them into fruition as productive and happy human beings. Thus, you are a spiritual embrace. Take your rest and feel better soon.
