Angkor WHO??

This is my 2nd favorite song on the album, and I think my favorite part is Steve Howe's guitar solo, accompanied by Squires bassline, which comes a hair away from being "Roundabout", but he ends the riff with a decending pattern instead.
There is a nice jam which opens the song, featuring great keyboard work by Igor. I hope the band leaves more room to jam like this song and Mag's "Dreamtime" on the next effort!

It's a fabulous song for sure. So good, it's number one to me.

One of THE LADDER's gems. NEW LANGUAGE speaks to me very clearly.

It's an interesting one, particularly the way Jon's lyrics are about Jon's lyrics.

I haven't had the Ladder too long, and it's still growing on me. Getting better each time I hear it.

I'd like to pick up the discussion on this one, maybe shift the direction a little bit. This truly is a wonderful song, my favorite on The Ladder. This is one piece that I would like to see revived in concert at some point, but the question is, would they ever do it again? I believe it was only played during a handful of shows in the early stages of The Ladder tour. I have one weed with New Language on it, and unfortunately, it's a weak version of the song. The only one who appears to want to perform it is Jon. The rest of the band sounds uninspired. Thus, I think this song is a gem that's going to remain buried, but I certainly hope it won't!

I'm with you on that. I just order "House of Yes - Live at the House of Blues" DVD, because it has this material played live.

Just saw the boys play at Jones Beach, all "classic" material and it was great, but the newer stuff is great too.

I love this song as well, it is probably my 2nd or 3rd choice on the album.

I was at jones beach as well, but I have been spoiled with 3 hour concerts from these guys.

New Language is my fav on this album. Its a lot more prog than all the other songs on this album, 'cept for homeworld.
