What are some of the most Positive Progressive Rock bands you can think of? Famous or obscure - new or old, I'm always on the "lookout" for great Positive bands to Promote!
Perhaps you or a friend of yours is a member of a Positive oriented Progressive Rock band.

Well I guess YES are definitely the most positive prog band I know in the whole wide world. Just take a look around this site and you'll see people who are just as positive as their band is. I like other abnds as well, but none of the others is that positive. I'll keep my eyes open though and let you know.

Good point!
Yes *is* a wonderfully positive band! So positive - in fact - that our Yahoo discussion list (ProgPositivity) has been recognized as an official YES-related discussion list! :-)
Thanks for the reply! Please *do* keep your eyes and ears open for additional positive prog rock bands!
Here are some of the bands we currently feature at Prog Rock Positivity Radio. (Flower Kings, IZZ, Little Atlas, Ayreon, Iona, Salem Hill, Arena, Transatlantic, Spock's Beard...)

Vertical Alignment
Imagine Keith Emerson enlists as a songwriting, keyboard playing member of Jefferson Airplane!

Akacia
Guitar driven tracks form their 2003 debut CD “An Other Life”. Only 4 tracks on the CD and 3 of them are over 10 minutes long!
Intricate and powerful compositions. Rather than “pattern” the vocals after previous prog masters, vocalist Eric Naylor is very comfortable being himself at the mic, which provides a unique modern rock character to the rootsy classic prog sound!
Dave Beegle
Phil Keaggy calls Beegle “one of the most creative and accomplished guitarists I’ve met!”
Glass Hammer
What can I possibly say about this incredible American Prog Band that hasn’t already been said before? Excellent and they just keep getting better and better! So, I’ll let them say something about me! ;-)
Jeff Johnson
Jeff is a very prolific instrumental music producer with one foot in the “new age/Celtic” sound and another in the “Camel-esque” concept prog sound and approach. As a matter of fact, he’s been releasing concept albums based on books by Stephen Lawhead (Snow Goose anyone? ;-)
Neal Morse
Spock’s Beard composer, singer, keyboardist has also made an incredibly genuine concept double-CD based on his own “Testimony”!
Proto-Kaw
From his days of seeking with Kansas, through his conversion, “Seeds of Change”, AD, and beyond, Kerry has been an inspiration to so many of us throughout the years! Proto-Kaw is his latest project. Hear it here at ProgPositivity Radio!
Syzygy
Jaw dropping intensity and beauty. This is incredible music. You just have to hear it. That is all I can say...

I would suggest StarCastle.
They are currently trying to release a new album (though one of the members is now fighting cancer), I am praying for him and for a new album and tour.
But they are a very positive prog band.
