Are there any boots of Yes live with Moraz ont he boards? I have never heard them live with him playing for them. I feel cheated, lets turn the clock of time back so I can hear it, NOW! Ha ha ha ha!

I've got 3 LP 'bootlegs that feature Patrick Moraz.
1) YES - THE AFFIRMERY
(A passing inevitable , a quantum disregard)
w/ "Sound Chaser","Roundabout","The Gates of Delirium"and "And You and I" - the rest is w/ Rick
2) YES - Sorcerers Apprentice
(Live at The Hollywood Bowl)
"The Gates of Delirium","Your Move"Pat Moraz solo,
"And You and I" plus LDR,Clap & Mood for a Day
3) YES - Live at The Long Beach Arena
"CTTE","The Revealing","The Ancient","Roundabout" & "Starship Trooper".

There's also the well circulated Boston show from Nov '74, I have it on vinyl under the title Stellar Attraction. Good sound mix on this one, features the entire Relayer album plus CttE, AYAI & Roundabout.
Also well known and easy to find is the show Live at QPR (Queen's Park, i think in London?) from early 75, its outdoors and still daylight for the first part of the set! I have an old VHS copy of this but I've seen it around lately on DVD, complete show including Ritual, all of Relayer, the solo spots, Sweet Dreams (!) etc, and the Roger Dean stage set!

Hey Antioch, that Live at the Long Beach Arena show you mention has got to be from the Tales tour with Wakeman, as far as I know Moraz nerver performed the Revealing, Ancient, or Starship Trooper.

I just got the QPR show...The mix is shaky at the beginning, but improves as the show goes on....Great performance though!

Doesn't the Philadelphia 1974 show that's floating around the Sell/Trade Forum feature Moraz?

Yes Gleeman. I believe you are correct.
But I'm still trying to find the 'CTTE' version with Moraz and that awesome percussive middle section. Help !!

donner is right. The Philly show show has Moraz paying all 3 songs from Relayer. The Roosevelt Stadium show from 1976 also has Patrick, but no TBO. This is a radio broadcast and sounds great.

Of course there's also the Yesshows album, which has PM on GoD and the insane 28-minute Ritual. I love how during Alan's drum thing, he sets up a really fast sequence as the background.

The Roosevelt Stadium show is a fine recording!
The copy I have has the radio commentators jabbering on it between songs, at the end, while waiting for the oncore, it sounds like two sports commentators perusing the game's highlights! Pretty funny!
And a fine recording.
Anyhow Tim, if you want a 'burn' of it, let me know, ok?

Tim, I have Boston 1974, Long Beach 1975, and Roosevelt Stadium 1976, as well as the QPR video on VHS. Let me know if you would like copies of any of these, and I'll send!

I saw Moraz with Yes in 1975, Vancouver, still got the ticket stub.
Gates was fabsolutely ABulous but they missed the link into the big theme after Alan rolls the tempo down so wonderfully and they all come back in, before 'Soon', yet the rest of the show was merely perfect! :)
Moraz appears a VHS tape of mine ( standard NAmerican release, is it YesYears?; don't see it on any of the contents of ths or 'Greatest Video Hits', nor Yessongs, of course) on Squire's FooW sessions but no Gates for me!
Where can I get a good official disc of him doing Gates, especially, and other stuff?
It ain't the same with Tom B. but he's really good too.
Check the trading room. I just burned the Roosevelt Stadium show that several posters are referring to and will be mailing them out Monday or Tuesday, so they should be re-weeded pretty soon.
As for official, the Yesshows version of Gates rocks. The version of Ritual is also a Moraz performance.

They did Topographic side 4 also and Moraz dram ( LOL) along wonderfully on his own drumkit but Wakeman never does, nu? They do play side one with Rick still and did Aug 30YAY!!
I have a 1972 MiniMoog WITH Moogdrum amd I sure would but it's too challenging for my band and time and equippage monyets. Ow!
(BTW, what is "weeded" in your own fine context?)

A weed is 3 copies of a show, 2 for people with burners who will re-weed 3 copies and the third for someone who may want the show but does not have access to a CD burner. Check out the Trading Room section of this site. It's a very cool thing.

I'm enjoying Yes' 'Live at the House of Blues' for the first time and the amazing Igor Khoroshev and helping locally with a benefit for tsunami victim concert on Sunday in Duncan here on Vancouver Island. A Buddhist lamasery in Mission on the Mainland has decided to sell their whole property and send the proceeds to Asian victims. Wow.
