Hello to YES fans everywhere , I was looking for information on the new tour when I found this site, so far it looks great. I am desperate to see Yes again but so far no news about a European tour, lets all keep our fingers crossed that we won't miss out again like last year, I am definitely getting withdrawl symptoms from a lack of live YES.

I found this on Where Are They Now Page at Yesworld:
It has been reported that a Polish agency is arranging a date with orchestra there in late Oct. If this report is accurate, it may indicate plans for a European leg following the North American one.
So maybe this year!!

I found this site through a link on the Yes world site, it lists a few different yes fan pages but this one caught my eye .

Welcome, Yesmad -
Did you get to see Rick on his recent tour? What do you know about the venues he played, and how it went?
Curious Yesfans want to know!;)

Sadly I did not get to see Rick on his last tour, I only found out about it after it had happened. In the UK Rick is known more as a celebrity who crops up on all sorts of quiz shows rather than a keyboard wizzard. I know that the venues he played at were small and intimate, I managed to get hold of a DVD of one concert which I enjoyed, he even played a version of wonderous stories. There were also the usual stories in between the tracks, I will have to keep my eyes open more in future.

Guess I'll say "Hi" too as a fellow resident of the UK!
I was at the show that Rick recorded the DVD at and it was fantastic, amazing, wonderful . . . but you know that having seen the DVD. It was also cool to meet him afterwards!
One thing viewers of the DVD may not realise is that the show is not actually contiguous. The rceording equipment broke down part way through and at the end Rick apologised and then asked us all to stick around while he played two numbers a second time!
Magic!
Simon.

Lucky you Simon, that must have been a night to remember. Are you connected to Fragile, the Yes tribute band in any way? I went on to their web site the other day in the hope of being able to hear the vocals for the band, surely no one can sing like Jon? Sadly I was only able to download instrumental segments of their music, I would be interested in going to see them just out of curiosity.

It sure was! My estimation of the man went up even more - which I thought was impossible!
And Yes I'm connected with Fragile too - hence getting into the soundchecks etc. I run the website, do artwork and promotional stuff for them. Couldn't you download "Soon", sure it's only got the lead vocals but it's a good clip. Steve would be the first to admit that he doesn't sing "like Jon" but he does an incredible job with what are obviously some of the most demanding songs in rock!
Thanks, Simon.

Hmmm, yes I tried it myself and it doesn't work, I uploaded a working version and downloaded it and it doesn't work . . . I'll try to fix it but in the meantime I could always e-mail it to you. Simon.

I would be grateful if you could but don't go to too much trouble, I'm not really up on how to use the computer so don't know whats involved.
