Howe dy to the "YESIVERE(S)" & " All Good YESHead(s) People" !

I was reading today some of the Trevor Rabin's Interview on [url]www.Innerviews.org/ url] Under Link(s) ~ Trevor Rabin's Family Tree. And Trevor Mentioned that in the Early to Mid 90's ELP approached him about joining Their Group. And Trevor Decliined B/C of his Very Busy Film Producing Movie SoundTracks / Themes. So I was thinking Wat would have they called ELP if Rabin had joined them? I guess they could have called the Group / Band PERL For : P.almer, E.merson, R.abin And L.ake.

I don't think it would have worked as there are too many opinions already b/w Lake and Emmerson. And besides, I think Greg wouldn't tolerate a skinny guy in the group...

I'd buy the album!

Trevor & Carl Palmer? Awesome!

Those 2 ought to do an album together anyway!

OK. Trev and Yes. Trev and Foreigner. Trev and ELP.

I vote for Trev, Paul and Ringo.

Out of the above three named (I think we can ignore any Beatles/Rabin concoction), the only one I would countenance is the Foreigner linkage - the other two are just too terrible to see revisited up on us.

I imagine it would be some good music, and that's what's important. I like ELP's stuff, and Trevor's stuff, so I expect some good music would result if they were to collaborate.

According to the ELP bio (The Show That Never Ends, published by Helter Skelter), Rabin was supposed to contribute a guitar solo to a new version of Sibelius' "Intermezzo from Karelia Suite," which Emerson recorded with the Nice back in the day. This was during the recording of In the Hot Seat. Supposedly the producer never sent Trevor the tape, and the track was never released because the record company was trying to steer ELP away from classical adaptations.

I vote for Trev, Paul and Ringo.

I second that vote. That would be awesome. I just can't imagine howe expensive the ticket price would be, tho.

Have you seen him lately? He's enormous. I suppose he's allowed to ruin a good band every 20 years or so.

Middle age spread exaggerated by someone who's jealous that all these hot Yesbabes think Mr. R is a cutie.

Granted, enormous is a bit of an exaggeration. I am also unconcerned of who finds anyone else to be a cutie. If Brad Pitt played on 90125 my opinion would not change.
