Anyone ever see the (30 minute?) live made-for-TV show from this album?
I once taped it but my idiot (ex) wife went and used the tape damn!
I know its not everyones favourite but still had some good stuff on it (better than Union)....
Oooopss! never noticed that the live thing had its own topic.

There was a 30 minute live snippet from the tour for TV? Was it the footage from the live release or from a diff. show on the tour?

Well, I am not sure but it was packaged - i.e. when it starts there is a daft bit of film showing a teenage girl in a sort of 50's family scene where he dad wants her to listen to some classical music on the radio and she goes "You are so square!" and as she does this she draws an imaginary square in front of her then this turns into a kind of colloseum building with Trevor Rabin et al playing some of the songs live. There is even a solo guitar toss-off by Rabin that I have never seen on any album. All the songs are from 90125 (except that solo thing).

That's the 9012LIVE video. The "daft bit of film" continues to pop up every now and then throughout the show. It has a killer version of "City of Love". This video is a bit difficult to find - though not impossible.
YesWorld reports the following: "Plans are in the works for a DVD release of 9012Live. Yes has acquired the masters for this video of the 90125 tour, originally released on VHS in the mid '80s. The DVD could include additional unseen footage and extras."
We shall see what we shall see....:running:

Briser -
FYI - the Rabin solo you are referring to is the opening of a Cinema-era track entitled "Make It Easy," which he recorded with Kaye, Squire and White around 1981-1982. If you're interested, the complete track is available on the Yesyears boxed set, along with a peppy little demo of "It Can Happen" with Squire on the lead vocals and different lyrics.
That video was from the first tour I saw Yes on (1984), and I wore out two VHS copies within 7 years. I hope the DVD goes through as planned.

Yea, the City Of Love tune from that tour ROCKED. At one time I had a Cassette single of it. They did it again on the Talk tour, that version aint bad either! It won't happen but I would love to see them close out a show with one of the tunes from 90125.
