Hi,
my name is hans, I'm from Germany. Born in 1966, I missed the 1st great period of the Yes career. It was in late 1983 when I first heard Owner of a lonely heart on the radio. It was mainstream, but it was different, so I bought the album. 90125 was the beginning of a wonderful friendship between myself and Yes music. I loved the album very much (still do!) and decided to get more Yes music. So I started to listen to all those strange sounding old albums. Same story almost every time: bought it, listened to it, thought "what kind of drugs did they take when recording this one?", listened to it again, slowly discovered the first magic moments, and finally couldn't stop listening to it discovering wonderful, exciting moments again and again.
I'm very pleased with the prog revival going on and all those great guys like Spock's Beard, The Flower Kings, IQ, Transatlantic etc. getting more and more success (Spock's Beard reached Number 37 in the German charts last year!).
And I'm looking forward to YES' orchestra project. They'll make it work !!!
