Hey All,

Does anyone know of any officially released Drama concerts or anything languishing in the vaults which might see the light of day?

I do hope so, as all the Drama-period weeds are, ahem, mixed quality, at best - unless you know different and can let me in on which Drama weed I need to get my hands on!

Any help gladly received.

Cheers,
Bren.

as far as I know, there was a radio broadcast of a Drama show at that time, so it might be some soundboard Drama ROIO somewhere. I have only decent audience recordings from that era. I have one supposed to be soundboard, but I have a couple of audience recordings with better sound quality. Bren, If you get a good soundboard recording from the Drama tour, please tell me! ;)

Greetings

Claudio

There is one radio broadcast from Madison Square Garden in NYC, Sept. 6 1980. It's not the full show (solos are missing + the opening song) and the sound quality is average for a radio show. Maybe it could be remastered for release (the upcoming -?- live box may have some Drama tour stuff on it). It was released on several bootlegs.

Several audience recordings have been circulating among traders, including a terrific show in Boston and a great one from Dallas. Join Yesswap if you want to get them without buying bootlegs.

The performance suffers from Trevor Horn's vocals (not his fault, he just wasn't the right guy for the gig, sadly) but Geoff Downes fits in very well, a shame he only recorded one album with Yes.
