Last year someone sent me a Yes CD they bought in Geneva.

Unfortunately it was stolen from my car one night, along with my stereo and other CDs. (If any of you see it...tell 'em I'm looking for that.)

This CD had works by various band members. Rick Wakeman did a song "Pyramids" evoking ancient Egypt with an exciting narration by the same guy who did "Journey to the Center of the Earth". Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I'm wondering if this CD sold in the States.

Some of the music was a bit trendy in my opinion. But I've noticed this in other CDs bought in Europe: they have a more disco version of American music. I wonder if any of you care to comment.

It could be the CD called FRIENDS AND RELATIVES VOL 1. I'm not sure if it has been released in the US.

Yes that's it! "Friends and Relatives". Some of the music is by friends and family members of Yes. My favourite track was the Steve Howe solo. He sings.

I've got that cd. Its a double. If you want, I could either sell you my copy, or make you a copy.

That's mighty generous of you Dave. Thank you. But it's not one of my favourites. I can remember how it sounds.

I thought it was unusual. Especially since Rick Wakeman played on it.

By the way, have you listened to Rick's latest release "Return to the Centre of the Earth"? I was wondering if it compared to the original.

IMO, Rick should of never returned
to the center of the earth. There
is no comparison between the two.
I can sell you my copy of that
too.:)
