Fragile was the first YES album I knew about, being was the album their first hit in the U S was on. The night my son was born, I went to my ex wifes mothers house and got stoned in the basement with her brother and listened to FRAGILE til I blissfully drifted off to sleep. Not that I now think that was the thing to do, but hey, I am a hippy, and that is what we did back then. But, I think Fragile is the best album YES did up until Tormato, which, it is hard to compare them because they are musically and technically different. One thing for sure, when I first heard ROUNDABOUT on that dashboard AM speaker in my freinds mothers ford, there was NOONE at the time that sounded that way. One of the great things about rock music was that every band had a unique sound, and everything new band that came out was entirely different than everything else. Since around 1980, every new band that came out could get together and line up their musicians and choose them like kids picking sides for a ball team in the playground, and they would still all sound the same.
