i think Drama is an excellent album. when i listen to it i don't think of it as a Yes album, i just think of it as a collection of songs by some great musicians.

Geoff plays excellent keys the whole way through the album. and some of the organ work makes me want jump up and shout "Yes!"

Trevor sings very well here too. he doesn't try to copy Jon, he simply sings some great stuff. he may not techinically be the greatest singer ever but he has a good natural sounding voice (and doesn't put on some american accent).

an excellent album. Yes had fallen apart and they did a great job at carrying the Yes name. much better than 90125 and Big Generator.

and Steve Chris and Alan were hot on Drama too.

Drama is one of my favorites as well. But I do think of it as a Yes album. Sure, there's the "classic" line-up, but Yes went through so many changes (keyboards, guitars, drums, and yes, singers), I don't consider it any less of a Yes album just because Jon isn't on it. It's the music, the attitude, the whole thing.

I thought Trevor had a very similar sound to Jon
at first, it was almost like Jon never left the group.

Drama is a great album! Initially, I felt a bit of indignation that they could call themselves YES without Jon, but I got over it.

Trevor Horn is also a wonderful producer. His work on 90125 is very impressive. But check out Seal's 2nd album, Scarface as I like to call it, WOW!!!

Seal's 2nd album and Talk(Trevor Rabin producing) by YES are two of the best produced 'pop' albums I've ever heard.

Seal refers to Trevor Horn as Uncle Trevor. :D

Without the 2 Trevor's and Geoff, there might not be a working YES. And with their highly criticised and often dismissed stints in YES, we couldn't brag about 35 years of recording, touring and continuing influence on each of our lives.
YES is an ever-growing musical entity.

I think Trevor Horn did try to sound like Jon a bit, although not too much. He certainly has a great voice and very well suited to the Drama songs. Geoff, what can I say, if you listen to his White Car Suite, that guy is so amazing. Yes never had any lousy musicians as a member. All are the best ones in their respective instruments.
