Can any one tell me if the YESSONGS DVD is the same as or as good as the Film of the live concert that was out in the early 70's? I am under the impression that YESSONGS DVD is a much shorter version. As it is not locally available I will have to import it but I want to be sure it's worth the big bucks.

Larry, thanks for responding. I assume you have Yessongs. Can you tell me how long the concert is and in your opinion is it worth getting? Its been 30 years since I'v seen it at the cinemas.
thanks, Fred.

I bought the DVD and found it to be Much better quality than my old VHS copy. Better picture and sound. Glad I replaced my VHS with DVD.

It says total playing time approx. 76 minutes. It's worth having most definitely. I think it cost me about $20 US. It also says "encoded with PCM digital stereo audio whatever that means.

That would be a nice one to have them digitally clean up and re-release.

I'd also like to see more footage. Siberian Khatru would be nice, and all of Starship Trooper.

I'd love to see an extended cut too. Did they do HOTS and Perpetual Change the night they filmed Yessongs?

I was just over at the Timelapse website and apparently Classic Pictures will soon be re-issuing Yessongs on DVD.

Re-issuing the same version? Or adding stuff?
It'd be nice to see a longer film...76 minutes is nice, but I know there's more out there. (they could probably also clean up the old footage a bit as well...)

I'm still trying to find out all the details on the Classic Pictures Yessongs remaster. No info on their official website last time I looked.
