I've only got the cassette version of Yessongs and there is hardly any information on the tracks. Could someone post up the details of where and when each track was recorded?
Also am I right in assuming the performances on the album are different from the video ones?
Thanks.

I do not have the information handy, but I can definitely tell you the performances on the album and video are different.

Off the top of my head I think that the video was shot at the Rainbow Theatre, and contains 'some' of the performances from the album. Close to the Edge is the same one, but YIND isn't (this is unfortunate, as the album version is better than the Rainbow). Wakemans solo is also a different version, and maybe a couple of others. Also, note that the video is not a full concert, maybe only half (no Perpetual Change, Siberian K, HOTS and only Wurm from Starship Trooper (though I think that this is the album version they used, so don't know why the whole song wasn't shown on the vid as they presumably filmed the whole show, and it's a good performance on the album). I also don't think that LDR and the Fish are on the video. And finally, Steve plays Clap on the video, and Mood for a Day on the album.
Hope this helps - I can't give you any more info as my video was chewed and I've not got the DVD!

PS Oh, and although my vinyl bit the dust some years ago, I don't think there was any mention of where the songs were recorded, although Martin's post above has some info (although CTTE and Starship Trooper definitely at the Rainbow)
PPS Another edit!! Jus remembered that AYAI is the same version on the video and album (95% sure), ISAGP maybe a different one. Roundabout - it's on the video, different version.
And that, I think, takes care of the whole video vs album!!
