...a group called Somnambulist? I read about them on the NEARfest website & it says they're from Tennessee. Anyone know what part of Tennessee?

BTW I'll have my own website soon to help promote my CD
"Control Freak". So far I've sold 62 copies (since late October) & recieved a great review for it in Knoxville's Metro Pulse & I have a gig in late January.

MERRY YESMAS!!!!!!

what genre is your music? if you have some of it at mp3.com like harold the barrel does, it would be easier to decide to buy...

Hmm...I really wish there was a way I could play you all of CC.
However I do guarantee that the rest of the song is just as
good as what you've heard and that none of the 64 people who've
bought my CD so far have tried to return it!
I apologize for "begging" but being broke & unemployed will
bring that out of ya :-)
Here's hoping you're willing to show some blind faith!

Peace,
Matt

ok, how much is the cd? i think i have to listen to those clips again before i decide (i cant do that this computer however), but yeah, i really liked what i heard, especially the cerebral cortex song...so how did you produce this, im just curious. becuase today i bought some cakewalk program at bestbuy that will allow me to hook up my midi keyboard to it and make some really high quality music.

The CD is $12(think of it as $10 + $2 S & H). I recorded it at a local 24 track
digital studio built into this guy's house here in Knoxville. I got my hands
really dirty as far as the production, mixing & engineering was concerned &
I'm pretty happy with the finished product.

Sorry I took so long to respond I've been busy as hell lately I've had the
whole site republished so it should be easier to check out all six samples
so you can see there's full band stuff on my CD too.BTW I'll sell it for $10
cos I like ya.

p.s.MAGNIFICATION IS GREAT

Angkor WHO??

Matt Hebert?

We have a truly talented guitarist among us, folks. I got his C.D. and there are some great songs on it.
Sweet song titles, too. I.E, Cephlahematoma, Love theme from an Imaginary Porno, and the priceless "Cat". You're going to laugh your @ss off when you hear that last one.
Seriously though, you should check this out. It's kind of cool having music from your fellow Yesfans.

We should put together a compilation C.D....

What were you DOING to that cat?

I wouldn't know how to post my material either. I guess you could go to my old bands website. We broke up last month. I don't know how much actual music is on there. A lot of fluff.

Have a tremendous day,

Paul,

Thanks for the highly solicited endorsement brother! Hmm...I'm almost wondering how your drums would sound on my songs.
As far as Cat is concerned I just pushed record, held the mike up to her & sort of prodded her(in a humane fashion!) until she reacted.
BTW I'm gonna see Adrian Belew & the Bears here tonight & I'll be damned if he doesn't leave Knoxville with a copy of Control Freak so wish me luck!

p.s.Ever been to New Jersey?

Angkor WHO??

That would be cool to get a C.D. to Belew, but even if you do, don't get your hopes up that something will happen.
For instance, Joe Perry from Aerosmith and the drummer from Extreme (Paul Geary), who is now Godsmack's manager, both have copies of my C.D's.
The phone has not rung, and it probably will not.

You asked if I had ever been to Jersey....

This is only the biggest Giants fan in the world you're talkin' to here!

Well I just got back from Ade & the Bears and managed to personally give him a CD. Don't worry I don't have any illusions about becoming a rock star out of the deal but a boy can dream:)

The show was pretty cool. The biggest surprise was when they played RED!

I grew up in Southern NJ & spent a few years in North Jersey so I gotta admit I was all about the Eagles when they were in the playoffs.
