Just wanted to know if anyone knows who the person is who coughs during Fish and the voice that says "Yay!" at the beginning of YIND?

YYYYYAAAAAAAYYYYYYY!
I've always wondered about that Yay as well. I was only 6 years old at that point though so it wasn't me......
the voice sounds very young though. i would estimate between 4 and 7 tops.

I've got a friend that swears he recognises himself on the Yessongs album. I don't remember what it was, I'll have to ask. I was at that show too. Are the show locations documented anywhere? Would be nice to know for sure. It wouldn't surprise me as it was the most incredible, tight, energetic music I have ever witnessed.

Wow, a cough in the middle of one of the best bass solos ever!I'm surprised it made it past the editors. It's ok though, everything and everybody gets drowned out at the second Shinderlia Prematarus starts. That guy was probably so startled by that sonic blast that he was probably choking! The first time I ever heard this album that part scared the heck out of me.

The sweetest moment of perfection is that dear human cough.
We can all relate to that!

There's this site called Forgotten Yesterdays with almost all info you could ever imagine about every single show. However, the info on Yessongs or Yessongs-video (which is not the same dates) is not complete. As you know Yessongs is a compilation of diffrent dates from Close to the Edge Tour (incl. some from Fragile Tour). The only documented songs from that album are:
Close To The Edge
12/15/72 London UK (Rainbow Theatre)
Roundabout
11/01/72 Ottawa ON (National Arts Centre English Theatre)
Starship Trooper
12/15/72 London UK (Rainbow Theatre)
Yours Is No Disgrace
11/14/72 Athens GA (University Of Georgia)
I'm sure most people know this, but just in case "Long Distance Runaround/The Fish" is from the Fragile Tour w/ Bill. As well as "Perpetual Change")
The Yessongs film was all from 12/15/72 London UK (Rainbow Theatre).
In the Yessongs DVD, there are theatrical ads (bonus material) and one of them states that the film was recorded on Christmas at the Rainbow Theatre
"Close to the Edge" & Starship Trooper" from that date are the only songs used for the album and the rest from other dates.

During "Mood For a Day" on "ABWH, An Evening of Yes Music", you hear someone screaming "Puņeta!!!!!!!!", which is a spanish word that as far as I know is only used in Puerto Rico.
Is a very very ugly word if translated literally, but is used to express strong exitement.
...it wasn't me. ...I wish it was me though :lmao:

so no one knows who these people are? I figured they would be active in this online community and be mini-celebs in their own rite.
