OK, this is going to be interesting, since he has so many -- there are 125 listed on his website, I counted!! some of them are re-releases and other rehashes, though.
I only have 14. I really want to get "Out There" as it sounds like it is very good.

and one collaborative album he did a couple of years ago with Dave Cousins of the Strawbs (Hummingbird).
And it's a fantastic little album too isn't it!
I have Henry, Journey, Arthur, NEC, Criminal Record, 1984, Heritage Suite, Night Airs, Piano Tour, Classical Connection, Legend Live, Live in Buenos Aires, Hummingbird, White Rock, and various session albums such as Hunky Dory, Teaser & the Firecat, Antiques & Curios, From the Witchwood, and Madman across the Water.
I just wish they would bring out John Williams' Changes that was done in 1971. I used to have this on vinyl but it was stolen.

I have Journey to the Center of the Earth, Six Wives, King Arthur, Softsword (King John and the Magna Carta), and Heritage Suite - A tribute to the Isle of Man, done for the National Heritage and the Manx Museum. The last two were picked up at a local Celtic festival.
The Heritage Suite really let's Rick show off his classical chops.

I own 19 & 3 videos
My favourites (originals):
1. Return To The Centre Of The Earth (my #1 fav. Great songs with OZZY Osbourne & Trevor Rabin. A lot of variety from Heavy Rock to light classical, great musicians, etc.)
2. Myths & Legends... - ("The Last Battle" makes me cry almost every time I hear it. It's like a movie)
3. 1984 (kinda Disco, but totally kicks ass)
4. Classic Tracks (the best version of Journey, very heavy, almost Heavy Metal)
5. Cost of Living (some songs sound like SAGA)
6.The Six Wives of Henry VIII
7.Journey to the Centre of the Earth
8.No Earthly Connection
9. Wakeman with Wakeman
My favourites (live):
1.Rick Wakeman In Concert (amazing, Ashley Holt is the real star here, singing his best... if compared to Yes, this would be Yessongs)
2.Live at Hammersmith (outstanding musicians. A wild concert)
3. Live in Buenos Aires (DVD) (outstanding musicians. A really wild concert)
4. Journey to the Centre... (DVD)
5.Wakeman with Wakeman - The Official Bootleg - Only like 1 song from this concert, but it happens to be my fav RW song ("Past and Present"). Actually, that's an Adam Wakeman song, but live, Rick adds his unique touch, making it 3 times better than the original)
Compilation
The Masters - In my opinion, the best compilation. It has a review by Brian Adams (who's a Wakeman fan).
Others:
Lisztomania (sucks)
White Rock (haven't heard it that much to give an opinion)
Rhapsodies (haven't heard it that much to give an opinion)
G'ole! (haven't heard it that much to give an opinion)
Country Airs - (too slow, too boring)
Rick Wakeman's Greatest Hits - (this is NOT a Greatest Hits, but a re-recording of Hits, with just a keyboard and a few intruments that sound like MIDI. Very boring)
The New Gospels - MEGA boring!!!!
The Classical Connection (VHS) - MEGA boring. Just a keyboard and 1 extra musician (bass & guitar)
... and a lot more to buy!!!!!... thank God there's a site called Amazon.com
Ohh man!! There's nothing like having a Whiskey Sour while listening to Rick's music.

I don't think I'll ever be able to get ALL of his albums, but I'd like to think I have a decent collection
These are either on CD or Vinyl.. I'll indicate where
Six Wives (Both)
Journey (Both)
Myths and Legends (Both)
White Rock (Vinyl)
Rhapsodies (Vinyl)
1984 (CD) (Got it signed by him too!)
Rick Wakeman's Greatest Hits (CD)
Return To The Centre Of The Earth (CD)
Live In Concert 2000 (CD Bonus w/ DVD of same name)
Out There (got it at the show).
One that I want, but cannot find is called "Live At Hammersmith." They have an excerpt of that concert on the "Yes: Friends And Relatives" CD with an amazing version of "Journey" on it.

Too much for me after shipping, exchange rate, taxes, etc., so I will keep looking in Canada and you can have this one!

we're close to 150 wakeman CDs.. easier to say we are only missing 4 discs that I can think of... Of course, I'm including stuff like the We Give A Damn LP that has him doing "Babylon" - written by Don Mclean, btw...
The live at hammersmith used to be for sale at rwcc.com It's got a great version of "Three Wives" (instead of the 6 wives)
I like the classical stuff the best.

I have Lizstomania soundtrack on tape. I don't count it because Rick doesn't either. I only like the instrumentals and the tracks Roger sings on. The rest is painfully bad dross without the visuals that go with it. I might seek out the Treasure Chest version one day seeing as you can buy it seperate now, but I'm defenitley not going to make it a huge priority.
I had my doubts about No Earthly Connection but I like what I've heard on Delicious Agony so I'll probably get it one day.

I'll have to check for all the exact titles - but I've found quite a few obscure ones lately at our local used record store. I think I have more than 10 now, but probably less than 20.

I used to have several. Since getting out of vinyl, and replacing my records with CD's, I've just got the two JTTCOTE's. I'll probably get White Rock and Six Wives. His discography makes me dizzy. Is it even larger than Zappa or Crimson? Anyway....I lost track of his solo career many many years ago obviously. Can some RW hard cores tell me a few select albums over the span since....say....1978 to now, that are perceived as must haves for a casual Rick Wakeman solo fan? Before answering, I should tell you that I don't care for piano only albums. Not that I don't love solo piano PIECES as a part of something larger. This has kept me from keeping up with Patrick Moraz since, what.....'I'? So...only albums with at least some tracks that have instrumentation, please.
Thanks gang,
SteveR

Wakeman is a mixed bag, even when he's with Yes . . .
I'm honestly afraid to buy any of his product . . . I just can't be reasonably sure that it will be money well spent . . .
I have 2 CD's: "6 Wives" and "Return to Journey . . . Earth"
and 5 LPs: "6 Wives," "Journey . . . Earth," "Myths & Legends of King Arthur," "Criminal Record," and "Rhapsodies."
Love "6 Wives" and "Criminal Record."
I'm not really all that fond of "King Arthur" or "Rhapsodies."

I always had that problem. For years I had always bought RW CDs not knowing what they were about.
Sometimes being lucky to buy something like "Live at Hammersmith" or "Rick Wakeman in Concert '75", but sometimes being extremely disapointed with albums like "Greatest Hits" or "The Word and Music".
I was always looking for a real good source of enough info on every album so that I could make a wiser desicion on what to buy and IT EXISTS!!!!!
his official site www.rwcc.com has all you need to buy the right album. With reviews from him and from fans, links to buy the albums and very important , the artists credits. If I see an album that is 2 keyboards, electronic drums and bass I won't buy it. But when I see albums with the whole band I always buy it.
Ever since I'm using RWCC I always end up happy of my purchase.
If you or anyone here needs advice on what album to buy, let me know, and let me know what kind of style you're looking for.

another thing (very important):
DO NOT pay much attention to what Rick thinks about his own albums.
I've seen plenty of reviews by Rick himself saying things like: "this album is not good" , "I wouldn't buy this album if I were you", etc. Then you scroll down to see reviews by fans and most of the times you'll se about 5 reviews saying totally the opposite: "this is one of Rick's best albums", "this is a perfect album", etc.
here's a great example:
There's an album called "Rick Wakeman in Concert" which I think is to Rick's collection what 'Yessongs' is to Yes.
see the page for that album:
http://www.rwcc.com/title_detail.asp?int_titleID=50
I think is a great thing to be honest but this is suicide.

that depends a lot in what style of band formation youre looking for but I'll give you diffrent choices in every style:
if you're looking for a good hits compilation:
DO NOT BUY "GREATEST HITS", believe me those are not HITS. It's a rip off.
these are the best compilations:
1. Voyage
http://www.rwcc.com/title_detail.asp?int_titleID=72
2. Recollections
http://www.rwcc.com/title_detail.asp?int_titleID=123
or (but this one covers hits from the 80s & 90s, as opposite to the previous two which covers the 70s)
3. Masters
http://www.rwcc.com/title_detail.asp?int_titleID=107
if you're looking for an album with the whole band (voices, guitars, drums, bass, keys, percussions, orchestra, chorus, etc):
Return to the Centre of the Earth
http://www.rwcc.com/title_detail.asp?int_titleID=103
Myths & Legends of King Arthur...
http://www.rwcc.com/title_detail.asp?int_titleID=3
or the new album Out There, but this one is really heavy, almost heavy metal. However is considered one of Rick's best.
http://www.rwcc.com/title_detail.asp?int_titleID=144
if you're looking for a great piano album you won't regret buying
Heritage Suite. If you like piano music that is both beatiful and not boring this album is a must

obvously there a lot more great albums, these are just a few.

Yes. I like it very much. Even more than the "Journey..." DVD.
What I didn't like is that the skiers had to dance around the stage. It would have been better if they were set to dance in front of it and have a normal stage instead of a rounded one.
I gave 3 copies away a few weeks ago in the "Trade" section. 2 of them were supposed to re-weed.
I can't give more copies now 'cause I'm broke (for the moment)
