Thank you Kathy!

A few So CA Yesfans are going to try to choke down pasta while listening to the drones of the music of the spheres played sideways...

That's prog. Correct? I'll do my best.

;) :ele:

I wouldn't bug many people about it Matt, but I just couldn't resist.

Now as far as Toronto being close, do you consider a 4 hour drive to be close? T'aint that close to me bud. But like I've said before, I'll go anwhere to see these guys.

Hey no problemo Shifty, I can take the s++t as well as I can give it! :lmao:

4 hour drive, I thought that WAS close in Canadian terms. I mean you all up there have this great big huge country and only about 25 people in the whole place. Hey when we kick Bushie out, you want him? He knows lots about OIL, GAS, and TREES! :stick:

Twas a blast in deed. :band: You were looking a bit buzzed Kathy, but maybe that was just my own relfection in my eyeballs

I must've not had that much though, I'm feeling rather chipper this morning. Already gearing up for that Friday the 13th parteeee'.

What was the name of the first song the funny guy sang? Not the fish song the other one. It was hilarious, seems I'm always caught off guard by somebody on the bill, not just Earlie. Matt's (cyberKhatru) songs were really cool to. We've got some pretty amazing musicians lurking here at Yesfans!

Buzzed would be a polite word for it.
Hammered would be more to the point.
I remember sticking my foot in my mouth at lest twice.
But it was fun :D
I can't remeber the name of the song either but it was funny. Some girls name I think.

Wish I could have been there! Next time, I'll send my LA (Woodland Hills and Canoga Park, actually) cousins.

Kathy, so you were feeling quite good then, eh? :D
Yeah...it was "Zelda"...had (virtually) everyone in stitches.

Lots of great songwriters last night. You know..I go to songwriters showcases like this one, and listen to everyone performing, I always go home thinking, "These people write better songs than what I hear on the radio"! It's frustrating, but on the other hand, really inspiring...the art of the song isn't dead....nor is it resting...it's just not being shoved down our throats is all.

Matt, thanks for the compliments!! I hope that my own songwriting can live up to the quality of others'...

Always great to hang with Yesfans!

Matt Brown (AKA: CyberKhatru) was Wonderful! As ever! I didn't know Matt was playing the same night till too late to post about it here... CyberKhatru is quite the stylist, and an amazing keys-player of the highest order...

I've heard him play and sing Supper's Ready/The Attack Of The Giant Hogweed/etc... After we'd all consumed more than one two many margaritas...

The dearest friend, and an amazing musician!

As for the show at Bellissimo... I had a wardrobe malfunction. Damn. Other than that, all went well!

:ele: Thanks Kathy, Matt, Smatt, YesBabe, and everyone, for coming out!

Kathy can maintain on vino better than I can! I never would have guessed you were, er, buzzed/etc...

The best of times! The best of friends! The greatest of days!

Love you all.

Thanks Earl!!

As always, it was great to hear you too. Your songs are great melodic stories. I'm grateful to call you one of my inspirations.

Thank God story-songs are not dead!
