Does anyone know where to find DVD's or videos for sale beside "Keys to Asc.","House of Blues", or "Yessongs" particulary "The Union"tour video, the 1975 live DVD or 1979 live in Philadelphia? I've seen these on Yesworld but nothing on where to find them to buy-that's if they are even available. I'd love to hear any feedback!!! Thanks alot-can't wait till the 2001Syphony tour DVD is released.

You might want to try e-bay if you don't mind second hand.

Try CDNOW.com
I recently purchased the 2 dvd set of the 1975 Queen's Park show.
I believe I saw the 1979 Philly show on dvd as well.

What is the quality like.

Thanks.

The quality is so-so.

I have the thing on video...... not sure if it's gone to DVD yet (you never know: where the market is, you know?!).

The video was a 'practice' tape for Jon, so Jon's acoustic is louder than Steve's guitar, and it's frustrating at times....: PLUS: you get to hear REALLY LOUD keyboards, which wern't quite in the groove yet....

Still, it's the RELAYER tour, which is saying something...

If you really want a video copy, I could drag my VCR to a friend's house, and duhb the thing...

Duhb Duhb... :)

Let me know........ :yesbird: Earl

The quality of the vhs and the dvd are about the same. It is available as a 0 region disc as an import from Hong Kong. I got mine on ebay.

I have a copy of the laser disc (or at least, that is what it is supposed to be) on Video.

It is pretty well unlistenable.

I am not expecting great things. Could you confirm if it is as listenable as Yessongs on VHS which I also have and can live with.

Thanks

Well, it sounded pretty bad in the theatre, midnight show, 1974.
The audio isn't 'muddied' like YESSONGS is (On the QPR tape), it's just a HORRIBLE mix: I was told it was a practice-tape for Jon & Patrick, and so, their parts were mixed way up high, and drown out the rest of the band. So it goes.
Still, it's a fun document, and the audience-mix must've been great, but doesn't help us now.

Steve's solo in SOUNDCHASER is awesome (in the Orson Wellesian sense of the word 'awesome').

If you can get the DVD from Hong Kong, I'd say go for it, just to have the document.
