Hello everybody.
Just want to tell you, that my long awaited Yeswebsite is now online.
There´s some things missing, yet, but there´ll be frequent updates in the next weeks and months so come and visit the site to learn more about yes.
It´s especially for German Yesfans, but most of it is in english, too.
Don´t forget to make your entry in the guestbook and tell me what you think about it.

Have a nice time everybody.

Of course you can.
To my email adress: sally.kunis@gmx.de ( I´ll post it in the guestbook, if you want, because this is not in English yet)
or go to the link http://www.power-guestbook.de/17769_gaestebuch.html this is my guestbook, where you can post all your thoughts and I´ll translate them for everybody to read it.
" Eintragen" means enter a message.
Hope that helps:-)

Paul,
That message was rather insulting. Sally does darn well for a 15-year-old--and anyone can transpose two letters when typing.

I said "Excellant" about the site. I can't find the insult.

If you go to the site she asks anyone who finds bad links to let her know. I found a bad link and figured out the problem for her. I do that kind of thing.

Forget about it - let's talk PG! Have you seen the Growing up Live DVD yet?
It is superb. Highlights for me = Growing up, Animal Nation, In your eyes AND the Italian audience, they contibute from the start and their intro to Sledge Hammer makes the hairs on my arms stand up!?

I will check out the website fro the band. My bands 'lived' during the 1980's and 90's. I started with a School band (Tyme), moved onto gigging with a friend I worked with (Section C), was poached to join 'The English Talking Heads' (Scratch 'n Sniff) - with all I played guitar and sang the high vocals!!

Finished as a bass player with a mississipi delta blues band (Reflex Blues Band)!! Trust me. They were roller coaster rides, but the fun I had and the buzz from some of the bigger gigs will live with me to the grave!!

Sounds great your musical carreer, like a lot of fun. I´ll add some pictures of our band to my homepage today. WE have a great time. The other musicians are all pretty old ( about 45, that´s a good age, if you ask me:-) and it´s great to hang around with them. Unfortunately there aren´t many gigs at the moment:-(
About PG. I`ve been at the show and I`m going to see it again in 4 months. IT was outstanding, unbelievable. There was a great atmosphere, the fans were great and Peter worked great with the audience. I couldn´t believe it , never had seen anything like that. YES is as great as he is, but for other reasons. And yeah I got the DVD for christmas. I can´t watch it sitting I always have to get up and dance. It´s wonderful. Great taste in Music, TM. Say HI to MiniMass

Ther´s a new area online at sallyskhatru.com where you can meet other yesfans at the concerts. Just email me which concert you´ll be at and I´ll add your name to the list, where you can see who else will be there, so you can meet after or before the show, whatever you want.

Hi Sally, what a great site.... Well done and thanks for the English translations. You know what us Brits are like for learning other languages..... Mein Deutsch ist sehr schlect hehe

I see that you play in a band with your dad? Well if you make it over to our yesfanomemnon gathering in June we are planning a 'Fan Jam' during the afternoon and it would be fantastic to see a young Yes fan on stage playing Yes music to so many Yes fans.... www.yesfanomenon.org The site is not finished yet so bear with me.. Keep up the great work..

That sounds absolutely wonderful. You have no idea how much I would love to make it over to you. I would also like to organize a German gathering, but I can´t help it, right now I´m really dissapointed. The German Yesfans seem to be soo lame.
I really hope to be in the UK in three years and then I´ll be on stage for sure:-) Thanks for the compliments about my site. I´ll visit your site soon.

Maybe the special songs made by people from this site, Sally amoung them, will be ready and we can play it on the day? That would be great...it can happen.

SallyKhatru
02-13-2004, 02:34 PM
That would be great, but I doubt that I will be there, so you´ll have to look for someone else to sing it, and we have to hurry a bit, because we´re not very close to finishing the songs yet, right:-)))
And OLias, you´re DEUTSCH was pretty good. I´m really surprised to see some of you speaking quite a good German. maybe you should attend a German gathering:-)

Oh this all is so long ago:-) I think I gotta bring some new life to that thread.
There's new stuff on my site which might be of interest for you.
Maybe some of you already now about my Wonderous Stories. For those of you who have not heard it yet and for those who'd like to see more pictures:
http://www.sallyskhatru.com/pragenglish.html
Iäll let you know at this place when I'm done with the transcrption of the interview so you can all read it, if you're interested.
If you have some good pictures of the current tour that you would offer me to use on my site, please let me know. I'm going to do a big update in the summer holidays that are due to start on the 9th July:-)
I'll also add more photos from during the interview and around those wonderful two days the upcoming week.

Sally - its maybe a little remiss of me but I hadn't actually bothered spending all that much time on your site during my first visit, most probably because the majority was in German and seeing as I don't splaten de doytch it was very much a case of in and then out, which is depite the fact I should have taken a look, at the very least, to see how the transcription of the Yes on XM Radio turned out - I have now and it looks okay, even if I can't read it in German I at least now what it is in English all the way through.

While I was there I read your 'Wonderous Stories' article and that was brilliant with just the right mix of old and new and, better still, it wasn't one of those articles which you just read and it was words - you really pulled of the trick of telling a story (does that say what I mean - I hope it does) and in combination with your review of the Prague concert I felt like I was really there.

It will be a constant visit whenever you update, or as Arnold Schwarzenegger would say 'I'll be nach oben'

Weebl, might I use th story with Wakeman and you for the "funny Yesstories" area? It's just to good not to be told the German fans as well:-)
I think the transcript of the interview should be available by sunday.
Nigel, I don't know how to thank you for all you help. Thanks for keeping me covered with work and covering yourself with work for helping me. Hope you recognized I gave you some "credits" at the end of the translation. Maybe I should also post your English transcript for all those who maybe don't have the CD.
Thanks a lot for you encouragement:-)

Sally, I just looked at your site - it's wonderful, and I'm always so impressed at what you've accomplished for someone so young.

I noticed your comment that you don't have any info about Tom Brislin yet - you should check with Tanbar, she is affiliated with his fan club and I'm sure can give you some links to information about him.

Keep up the wonderful work!

I remember watching the video at Sally's house, and now I've read the script. The feeling was how relaxed the atmosphere was more of a "chat" than an interview. But in another sense Sally, you were always aware it was an interview and ready to bring in the links to another question or to get Rick back on track when he had a diversion. Well done Sally a great job. A small point a few minor spelling mistakes if you would like some help on correction let me know (the teacher in me coming out..LOL).

Great, Sally. You bring out the best in Rick! It's great to read he is comfortable in the band, too.

I think all of the band members just seemed to have run out of arguments and clashes. They seemed to have moved past their growing pains and have once again let the music stay the top priority. Rick sure seems to think this way.

Sally

I've just read the interview with Rick. It was very informative. It sounds as though Rick wants to do some new recordings, though as he said they'll have to agree to a few meetings beforehand.

Absolutely brilliant site I'll add it to my favourites so I can keep uddated.
